Nepal ended their Canada tour under the CWC League 2 Tri-Series without a win. However, they got the first point in the last match as the clash against Oman was abandoned due to rain.

Nepal were on a losing streak of five consecutive matches. Overall, Nepal now has only three points after playing eight matches.

Nepal were aiming for their first victory of the series against Oman, but overnight rain created issues with the outfield at Maple Leaf North-West Ground. Despite the ground staff’s commendable efforts, the conditions remained unfavourable due to additional rainfall, resulting in the match being called off without a toss.

In the series opener, Canada convincingly defeated Nepal with a big margin of 103 runs. Nepal made three changes for their next game against Oman but suffered a close one-wicket defeat. In the third match, Canada once again dominated, comfortably beating Nepal by five wickets.

The Nepalese team will be involved in the T20I tri-series against Canada and Oman itself before heading to the USA for their third CWC League 2 tri-series. Nepal will battle against the USA and Scotland.

Currently, Nepal sits second from the bottom in the standings, with only UAE below them, having earned two points from six matches. Canada leads the table with 14 points from 11 games, followed by the USA and the Netherlands, both with 12 points.
