The Nepalese U19 cricket team is gearing up for a five-match 50-over series against the Karnataka U19 team. This series will provide Nepal with the opportunity to face a strong opponent as preparation for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) reveled that Nepal’s youth team will play five match as preparation for a pivotal tournament. All the matches will be played in Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu.
Schedule:
First match – 13 November
Second match – 15 November
Third match – 17 November
Fourth match – 19 November
Fifth match – 21 November
Few days ago, CAN announced an 18-player squad for the upcoming U19 Asia Cup in the captaincy of Hemant Dhami. Shakti Gauchan was appointed as the head coach with Dhirendra Chand as the Assistant Coach.
The ACC U19 Men’s Asia Cup 2024 will be played in UAE from November 29 to December 8. Nepal is in Group B alongside Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup, being the champion of previous qualification tournament (ACC U19 Premier Cup).
