Nepal is set to host the ICC U19 World Cup 2025 Asia Qualifier. The winner of the qualifier will earn a place in the ICC U19 World Cup 2026.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed the news about Nepal being the host of a pivotal tournament. The competition, featuring five teams, will be held in Kathmandu from April 12 to 21, 2025.
The youth teams of Nepal, Afghanistan, Oman, Hong Kong, Singapore and UAE will battle in the Asian Region Qualifier. The winner of the tournament will seal a spot in the U19 World Cup 2026.
Nepal featured in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 as well. They registered a thrilling win against Afghanistan to qualify for super six.
The U19 World Cup 2026 will be hosted in Zimbabwe and Namibia where 16 teams will compete in the tournament.
