Nepal will be playing against India in the quarterfinal of Asian Games Cricket.
Nepal defeated Mongolia and Maldives to secure a place in the quarterfinal. However, the opponent in the Quarterfinal was not confirmed.
Today, in a lucky draw, Nepal and India were pitted against each other, with Captain Rohit Paudel drawing India’s lot.
The quarterfinal match will be played on Tuesday at 6:45 AM.
Nepal, Hong Kong and Malaysia secured a place in the quarterfinal whilst Afghanistan got bye. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were already confirmed to play in a quarterfinal.
Nepal faced a 10-wicket defeat against India when they last met in the Asia Cup 2023.
