Nepal Cricket Team heads to India for CWC League 2 preparation

The Nepalese national cricket team has departed for India to participate in a preparatory series for the CWC League 2. According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the team left for India on Monday.

According to CAN, the Nepalese cricket team will undergo two weeks of training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. Following the training and preparatory series in India, the team will head to Canada for the second CWC League 2 series.

Canada will host Nepal and Oman in September for Nepal’s second CWC League 2 series. Earlier this year, Nepal participated in a home tri-series against Namibia and the Netherlands in February where they faced three defeats and secured only one win.

Captain Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane are currently in Canada after participating in the GT20 League Canada. Airee and Paudel are scheduled to play in the MAX60 Caribbean Cricket League, which begins on August 18.
