The Nepal national cricket team has left for Hong Kong to participate in the Quadrangular T20I Series, scheduled to be held from April 9 to April 13. The tournament will feature hosts Hong Kong, Nepal, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Nepal will be led by captain Rohit Paudel, while former skipper Gyanendra Malla will serve as the interim head coach for the tour. Malla has stepped in temporarily as newly appointed head coach Stuart Law is yet to arrive in Nepal and take charge officially.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced a 15-member squad for the series, featuring a mix of seasoned players and emerging talents. Nandan Yadav is called following his impressive form recently while Lokesh Bam, Basir Ahmad, and Shahab Alam are also included in the squad. However, key players Sandeep Lamichhane and Anil Sah are notably absent from the squad.
