The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled a 14-man squad for the upcoming Quadrangular T20I Series set to take place in Hong Kong from April 9 to 13, 2025.
Regular Captain, Rohit Paudel will lead the side with some fresh names in the squad. Nandan Yadav is called following his impressive form recently while Lokesh Bam, Basir Ahmad, and Shahab Alam are also included in the squad. However, key players Sandeep Lamichhane and Anil Sah are notably absent from the squad.
With Nandan Yadav’s inclusion, the Nepalese squad will now feature five pace bowlers, joining the existing quartet of Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Rijan Dhakal, and Gulshan Jha.
The Quadrangular series, scheduled from April 9 to April 13, 2025, will feature matches against Qatar, Kuwait, and the host team, Hong Kong. Nepal will kick off its campaign against Qatar on April 9, followed by crucial matches against Kuwait and Hong Kong. The tournament will conclude with a third-place match and final on April 13.
