Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground which was renamed as Jayakumar Shah International Cricket Ground is set to host the first ever T20 International (T20I) match. Nepal and UAE will play a T20I match at the venue on October 18 starting from 1:00 (NST).
The venue will be the 190th ground to host the T20I match. It also became Nepal’s second ground to host an ODI match when UAE and Oman faced each other during the ACC Premier Cup 2023.
Notably, This is also the first T20I match between UAE and Nepal on Nepalese soil.
Nepal, UAE and Hong Kong are set to be involved in the T20I triangular series in preparation for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. All the matches will be played at Mulpani except the final, which will be held at TU Cricket Ground.
