Former skipper Gyanendra Malla and fast bowler Karan Kc are excluded from the playing XI from Nepal’s crucial match against UAE on Sunday. Gulshan Jha and Lalit Rajbanshi have made their way into the playing XI in the second match of the series at TU Cricket Ground.
Nepal are set to bat first against Muhammad Waseem’s side after winning the toss. Both teams are under pressure to win the match.
Nepal needs to win all three matches in order to finish third in the table and book a direct spot in the world cup qualifiers, whereas UAE needs to win all remaining matches to retain their ODI status.
Nepal defeated PNG in the previous match, while UAE were defeated four times in a row by the same team.
