Kathmandu Gurkhas have signed Gerhard Erasmus for Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024. The Namibian skipper is Kathmandu’s second foreign players signing as they have already signed Dutch cricketer Michael Levitt.
Erasmus is widely regarded as one of the top players in associate cricket. The 29-year-old all-rounder has appeared in 52 ODIs and 65 T20Is, amassing over 3,500 runs and taking more than 90 wickets across formats.
Karan KC is Kathmandu’s marquee player. They signed Shahab Alam, Bhim Sharki and Rashid Khan from A category in the players auction. Basant Shahi Thakuri is the head coach of the franchise.
Nepal Premier League is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 21 (Mangsir 15 to Paush 6) in Kathmandu.
