Chitwan Rhinos have signed Marchant de Lange for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024. The former South-African pacer is the first overseas signing by Chitwan.
The 34-year-old fast bowler has represented South Africa in all three formats. However, his international experience is limited, with just two Test matches, four ODIs, and six T20Is. Despite this, he brings valuable experience from franchise leagues worldwide, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has played for two teams: Mumbai and Kolkata.
Kushal Malla is the Marquee player of Chitwan Rhinos. They signed Rijan Dhakal, Kamal Singh Airee and Sharad Vesawakar from A category in the players auction. Nepal’s former coach – Umesh Patwal is the head coach of the franchise.
Nepal Premier League is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 21 (Mangsir 15 to Paush 6) in Kathmandu.
