The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 20-member preliminary squad for the preparation camp ahead of Nepal’s T20 tour of Hong Kong, China. The squad, led by captain Rohit Paudel, includes a mix of experienced players and young talents. Key players like Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami, and Lalit Rajbanshi are part of the squad.
Sandeep Lamichhane, who missed the PM Cup is not part of the squad. Players like Nandan Yadav, Dipendra Rawat, Kiran Thagunna, Basir Ahmed and Rupesh Singh who are making a significant impact in domestic cricket are also part of the squad.
The camp will be held in Siddharthanagar, Rupandehi as Nepal gears up for the upcoming international tournament.
The Quadrangular series, scheduled from April 9 to April 13, 2025, will feature matches against Qatar, Kuwait, and the host team, Hong Kong. Nepal will kick off its campaign against Qatar on April 9, followed by crucial matches against Kuwait and Hong Kong. The tournament will conclude with a third-place match and final on April 13.
With a strong squad and intensive preparations, Nepal aims to make a significant impact in the tournament. Fans eagerly await to see their team in action in T20I matches.
