Raunak Shrivastav: The Rising Star from Lumbini Province
Raunak Shrivastav is an emerging Nepali cricketer representing Lumbini Province. He rose to prominence after a sensational double century in the TB Shah Memorial Cup U16 National Cricket Tournament, where he hammered 217 runs off just 117 deliveries against Gandaki Province. His explosive innings featured 16 fours and 16 sixes, marking one of the most dominant performances in the tournament’s history.
His 217 is also Nepal’s highest in domestic cricket history.
Shrivastav is currently under the guidance of coach Bibek Tripathi, while national cricketer Basir Ahamad has also been playing a key role in mentoring the youngster. Interestingly, Shrivastav has long admired Basir Ahamad and credits him as a major influence in his early cricketing journey.
