Kathmandu- The senior one day tournament, the (much criticized) once in a year event has been postponed. As per CAN’s calender’s the tournament was scheduled from 12th Mangsir. The one day tournament was supposed to be a selection tournament for the much coveted Division-II.The dates for the national tournament is yet to be finalized. A CAN related source informed Cricnepal that the tournament would be held much before Division-II.
CAN has organized two tournaments in the months of November itself. U-19 Women’s Cricket(Kathmandu) and Inter school national cricket(Bhairahawa)
Kathmandu District Cricket Association and several other district cricket associations is yet to organize their club tournaments which acts as selection tournament for the regional selection tournament. After the club and regional matches 11 team ( 9 regions and 2 departmental teams-APF and Nepal Army) would feature in the national tournament.
