Dambulla -The first match of twenty20 International series between Nepal and Hong Kong has been abandoned due to continuous rain since tuesday night at Dambulla, Sri Lanka.
There was a persistent rainfall since last five days here at Dambulla. Similarly, the two team couldn’t play there warm up matches. Looking at the ground conditions, there is less chance for a play today.

1:00 PM – It’s still raining and the pitch is covered, the grounds are wet. Meanwhile, there is a trending story about the meeting of two teams.
12:09 PM – The meeting between two teams has been over, they have decided to shift the game from Dambulla according to the source.
12:00 Noon – The rain has stopped, sun is out. Ground and Pitch to be inspected at 12:15 pm.
11:25 AM – Sun is out, Inspection of the ground is scheduled at 12:15 pm. Hope rain stays away now

10:50 AM – It’s official, 4 pm will be the cutoff time. Before that the last ball of the match will have to be bowled. No match can start after 3 pm. If match starts at 3 pm we will have a 5 overs per side match.
10:30 AM – Still no signs of toss and play. Rain has stopped and the covers are off. Umpires and the team are inspecting the ground.
10:15 AM – Rain has stopped but the wet condition delays the match.
