Dambulla/Online Khabar – A meeting between members of Hong Kong and Nepal has decided to appeal for relocation of the series to a different venue after rain severely impacted the first T20I between the two sides. Onlinekhabar informed about the meeting and decision from Sri Lanka via their twitter.
It has been raining on and off for over a week in Dambulla which affected not only today’s match but also the Hong Kong and Nepal’s practice match before the historic series, and also Nepal second three day match in Sri Lanka. The weather forecast suggests that the weather at Dambulla will remain the same for remainder so the chances of play are negligible.
Sri Lanka Cricket and Asian Cricket Council is yet to come up with their decision on the appeal.
